How do you feel about working under pressure and dealing with super tight deadlines?
By the way, I love David Bowie’s “Under Pressure” usually, but this video is just ridiculously awesome:

I have the unfortunate personality that:
a. creates situations of high pressure
b. despises large quantities of stress
c. procrastinates for tomorrow what could be done today
d. performs beautifully when needing acts of God to get things done
So needless to say, large amounts of pressure is my life. I think as it occurs more frequently, I become less fazed by it and more capable of turning things out.
…dangerous.

For me I get more done when I have a super tight deadline. I use to be a big procrastinator though I have gotten better over the years and I find being under pressure is better for me.
Not having deadlines can leave things in limbo and then tasks never get done.
I do find that I need a break now and then from working under pressure and having deadlines but mainly I thrive on them.

Is there any other way?

@Jon– lol. That would be the innovation of the century, in my book!
@Katie good point about limbo, you’re right about that! Things that are open-ended do have a way of back burnering themselves…

yeah I have deadline on the 15th and my boss just keeps creating more work for it instead of finishing the work.
