Hmmm…. if these are the only two options, I’d pick good-looking. Because you can always find ways to earn money, but sans natural good looks… there’s not too much you can do?
(And in my opinion, plastic surgery is… not an option. Brrrrrr.)
If we open it up to all characteristics, however, I would dismiss both of these and opt for either smart or perhaps lucky. Those give you a lot more opportunities for creating or finding happiness.
Kinda along the lines of what Jon said, I would pick wealth. Beauty only benefits me, but I can use wealth to benefit more people. Sure, you could use beauty to earn money, but then your goal is wealth anyway, so why not start off with wealth? And if the spam emails I receive are to be believed, you can attain beauty by spending enough money.
Money is so sexy. If you are rich, you don’t NEED to be good looking. Wealth (especially if handled with grace) makes people inherently better looking.
Good looking on its own, not so much. Besides, I’m already good looking… I’ll take rich now please.

Wealth. Beauty is only skin deep. I can help others with wealth.
